UKULELE JAM NIGHT - SECOND SATURDAY CONCERT SERIES
Stage Left Cafe, 125 W Van Buren Street, Woodstock, IL 60098
Ukulele has grown in popularity since the mid 90’s when Hawaiian musician Israel Kamakawiwo’ole released his versions of Over the Rainbow and What a Wonderful World. These songs were featured in television, film and commercials and created a new enthusiasm for the cute little instrument. Since then, ukulele clubs and groups have moved into mainstream culture. It’s portable, easy to learn and fun! So, grab your uke and join us in this interactive jam night led by Cassandra Vohs-Demann with assistance from members of the Ukulele Superhero Club. Play along, sing along, learn a song, or just come to listen. For more info visit: www.aplacetoshinemusic.com
